getavision Wine Tasting Fundraiser in Newport Beach benefiting LLS blood cancer research

Wine Tasting & Cheese Pairing Event will be held at Wine Lab Newport in Newport Beach, CA on April 17th to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and to launch the getavision+LIVESTRONG LGBT cancer initiative featuring Orange County’s Thompkin Cellars.

Wine & cheese pairing fundraiser that will focus on fighting cancer in the LGBT community. Wine Lab's friend, lymphoma survivor and founder of getavision.org, John Boswell, will be launching the getavision+LIVESTRONG initiative, a global LGBT campaign with the Lance Armstrong Foundation. 

John is hosting the event to benefit blood cancer research for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Man of the Year program in which he is a candidate. As of this year, cancer is now the #1 killer worldwide and LGBT people are one of the most at-risk populations with diagnoses on the rise. 

Thompkin Cellars of Costa Mesa will be the featured wine and the owners and winemakers Jeff & Julie we be on hand to meet guests.

Cost: $50 per person for 5 wines paired with 5 cheeses. 60% goes to LLS and 10% of all bottle sales benefit getavision.org.
