We are building a new community-wide power grid.   We are radically inclusive and welcome everyone!

getavision is bringing the community, family & friends together in a worldwide movement in creating a new social enterprise system, while helping those with cancer, HIV/AIDS and other health and financial challenges.

The timeXchange provides a community-wide support system, while the global visionTRADE Barter Exchange opens up new economic and work opportunities, and innovative microfunding redistributes the wealth!

The community-wide safety net is what we call a new POWER GRID, benefiting everyone in the community.  The systems are building social capital through local programs which draw people together and engage the time, skills and resources of ordinary people & businesses for caring and support.

This human POWER GRID transmits power from those who have to those in need and back again in a reciprocal system.   Those in need are not sucking energy from the community -- they are also powering the grid.

The getavision programs are especially for you or someone you know who may be struggling with health and life-changing challenges and losing hope and a passion for life.

Through the getavision programs, we hope you can find inspiration and motivation for yourself and others in your life!

a new social enterprise system

We have business partnerships which include innovative microfunding and collaborative sponsorships.

Watch Edgar Cahn

Our vision is to provide a path through which we can explore these questions:
"why are we here" and "what kind of world do we want to leave behind?"

Edgar Cahn,  the founder of TimeBanks USA, has provided much inspiration  And we are following his lead as he has piloted Time Banking throughout the USA and in more than 30 countries, employing the world's only tax-exempt local currency, Time Dollars.  As an Ashoka Fellow, he pioneered an adaptation of TimeBanking that would enable older adults and their families to pay for a form of long term care insurance using Time Dollars.
