getavisionPROJECT Plan / September 2008

While this is a long-range project to establish a broad-based non-profit organization with global reach, we are beginning the getavisionPROJECT with a geographically localized two-year plan to spanning from November 2008 to November 2010.

Our programs and projects all are strategically designed to help us fulfill our main organizational mission. While our core focus is on the individuals we call people who are facing a myriad of health challenges, we also are weaving together a the creation of a significant campaign with global ambitions to carry forth the HIV prevention message highlighting the relationship of HIV to cancer.

Bringing together many people who are living with both HIV and cancer, we plan to implement a campaign of hope for those living with these two diseases, while also directing our message of caution to those not exposed to the HIV virus.

geographic focus

While the getavisionPROJECT is intended to take on global dimensions, it begins at the heart so many peoples' visions and dreams -- Hollywood. Our programs and projects extend outward to encompass West Hollywood, Greater Los Angeles, San Gabriel Valley, the Desert Cities, the Inland Empire, Orange County, San Diego, and San Francisco.

Our "LGBT CANCER Campaign" will initially be focused on the two strategically targeted "Sister Cities" of West Hollywood and Palm Springs, which we plan to spearhead along with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the various non-profit AIDS organizations in West Hollywood/LA and Palm Springs in what we call this our "Sister Cities Program."
