The getavision programs are a part of Metropolitan Community Charities, a 501(c) non-profit charitable organization, is to encourage and support people in leading the way into a new era of love, compassion and charity among all people throughout the world, spearheading economic and health-related social justice initiatives and programs.
Building on a revolutionary foundation of social justice and faith in action, Metropolitan Community Charities (MCCharities) was formed on the 40th anniversary of the 1968 founding of Metropolitan Community Churches by Rev. Troy Perry in Los Angeles, which preceded an unprecedented period of social change beginning with the historic Stonewall revolution in New York City from June 27-30, 1969.
Inspired by revolutionary Rev. Troy Perry, our goal is to lead the way into a new era of love, compassion and charity among all peoples throughout the world.
